The AAODL evaluates the following criteria:

The type of educational courses offered by the institution and the degree(s) for which it is applicable

Each degree type the institution confers along with the minimum requirement of that degree

Methods for enrolling students and criteria for acceptance or rejection of a student

Assesses faculty members and their credentials

Any ongoing legal actions involving the institution

Tuition and refund policies

New and planned programs and activities not yet available to students
